Correction policy
Effective 2026-07-04. Author: Joel Singh.
In a fast-moving insurance market, a stale or wrong table is worse than no table. This site treats errors as first-class events: they are fixed publicly, logged, and attributed.
How to report an error
- Email joel@isinghlabs.com with the subject line "Correction".
- Include: the page URL, the specific claim or cell you believe is wrong, and, if you have one, a source supporting the correction. Carrier and broker representatives: primary documents (policy wordings, filings, official product pages) get the fastest turnaround.
What happens next
- Review within 5 business days. Every report gets a reply, whether or not it results in a change.
- Verification against sources. The disputed claim is re-checked against its cited source and any new evidence supplied. The stronger source wins; primary sources outrank everything.
- Public correction. Confirmed errors are fixed on the page, the affected cell's last-verified date is updated, and a dated entry is added to the relevant changelog describing what changed and why.
- Material errors. If an error could plausibly have affected a coverage decision (a wrong limit, a wrong exclusion scope, a wrong effective date), the changelog entry is flagged as a material correction rather than a routine update.
What we do not do
- Silently edit data. Every dataset change lands in the changelog.
- Remove verified, sourced facts because a carrier dislikes them. Disputes are resolved on evidence.
- Trade corrections for commercial consideration. Sponsorship has no effect on this process.
